Dried Squid

You see this stuff all over Korea. I posted pics earlier from a baseball game. It’s sold all over the street. And recently the kids at school have had it so I was able to snag a chunk from one of them today in a trade for a piece of kimbap and finally try it for myself…

…and it’s not that bad.

It’s dried, and flattened, and very hard. You gotta chew on it for a while. It’s basically like squid jerky… kinda fishy… a little sweet … but pretty delicious.

So, satisfied with my first little nibble I picked up a small version at the market on the way home. Yes it was pretty good, but by the end I was done with it, a bit of an overload. Pass the floss.P7150019
