Portland Trail Blazers… in Korean

The Portland Trail Blazers at Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday December 11th, 2009 was the first NBA game that I watched on MBC ESPN. MBC is the major broadcasting company in Korea, and their ESPN channel will frequently play NBA games on weekends, however, the broadcast is in Korean.

This is my impression of the broadcast.

Korean speaking Korean speaking … Juwan Howarduh
Korean speaking Korean speaking … basket count!
Korean speaking Korean speaking … Brandon Royee
Korean speaking Korean speaking … fade away
Korean speaking Korean speaking … Preezabeela
Korean speaking Korean speaking … shot clockuh
Korean speaking Korean speaking … Clevelanduh
Korean speaking Korean speaking … Al-dridge-uh
Korean speaking Korean speaking … Baylessuh
Korean speaking Korean speaking … back door cut
Korean speaking Korean speaking …put back
Korean speaking Korean speaking … Portlanduh
Korean speaking Korean speaking … baseline jumpuh

Disappointing loss because of the good effort that the team put forth, but I’m not giving up on the season just yet.
