What the Book? has moved

What the Book? is a savior. It’s the only place I know to find a large selection English books, new and used. What can’t be found physically in the store can certainly be found among the 1,000,000 + titles available for purchase online. And the shipping is free if you spend over 25,000 won.

My girl and I frequently make weekend day trips to Itaewon for lunch, foreign food market shopping and What the Book?. Recently, our walk up the notorious hill ended in no What the Book?. Turns out, they have moved locations.

The new store is on the main drag through Itaewon, walking towards Noksapyeong station, on the right between Burger King and the post office. It is much more spacious. Browsing books is now possible without feeling like you are obstructing the view of other patrons. No more bumping backsides while trying to slide in and out of the old narrow aisles. And the air conditioning is freezing cold.
