Behind the Scenes: Wild and Crazy Music Video Day 2

Day 2 proved to be the first day of intense shooting on the the Wild and Crazy music video. Day 1 was more of a warm up focusing only on the artist Dusten Wes performing in front of the camera in various locations throughout Osan. On the docket for Day 2 was our first attempt at tackling one of the scenes, the second verse of Wild and Crazy.

The second verse speaks of a man who lost a promising career in basketball, and his life, to drug addiction. Visually, you will see him in both by himself as well as alongside his brother and friends. Ultimately, you will see his demise. Playing the part this man and his brother were two friends Jean Mark and Charlie, who did a great job considering they had zero acting experience.

As you can see from the behind the scenes video, the day began and ended with some sleepy people, the joys of an independent production. Seems everybody involved in this project is also involved in many other endeavors. Performers and artists, film makers, photographers, writers, party planners and promoters… the list goes on and on. Toss in confusion regarding the commencement of Day 2’s activities and you got one tired crew.

That said, the crew is tight, resulting in a cohesive effort on shooting days, regardless of what else may going on in our lives. This dedicated group of friends has fun, but so far doesn’t have a problem recognizing when it’s time to get down to business. For a collective of tired dudes, we certainly did a good job at staying on schedule, shuttling people back and forth between rendezvous points and shooting locations, and ultimately winning the battle against diminishing sunlight. Collaboration is high and creativity is flowing as quality ideas are being generated in the midst of shooting efforts.

Stay tuned for future shoots including more scenes from the verses of Wild and Crazy as well as Mr. Wes performing in Seoul and Osan.
